Al Falah University is distinguished by the quality of its academic programs and the inspiration of excellence and innovation in education, research and community services. The university has four colleges, the College of Business Administration, the College of Mass Communication, the College of Law, and the College of Arts and Humanities, through which the University offers various academic programs, accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in the United Arab Emirates.

Note: In order for Higher Education (HE) qualifications in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to be recognized by the Ministry of Education (MoE or Ministry), institutions are required to achieve and sustain Institutional Licensure, and accreditation of all academic programs through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA or Commission). Maintaining Institutional Licensure is a pre-requisite for the maintenance of program accreditation, for renewal of program accreditation and for new applications for Initial Program Accreditations. Institutional Licensure / Program Accreditation applies to the activities and operations of the entire institution and is one of the ways through which the CAA and the MOE provide quality assurance for post-secondary education in the UAE.
AFU programs are accredited by CAA and the university is licensed by MOE. Additionally, as an ongoing process, the university will renew its the accreditations and university licensure as per the set standards and the due dates (College of Arts and Humanities (CAH)’s programs: the renewal year is 2025, College of Business Administration (COBA)’s programs: the renewal year is 2024, College of Law (COL)’s programs: the renewal year is 2024, College of Mass Communication (COMC)’s programs: the renewal year is 2026, and Al Falah University (AFU) Licensure renewal year is 2023).
