In light of the initiative of the Ministry of Happiness and the launching of the National Programme for Happiness and Positivity, the Student Affairs at Al Falah University inaugurated the Student Happiness Council. This council was instituted to follow the program’s aims; to provide and ensure the happiness of citizens and communities and to establish positive and cheerful values as an integrated way of life amongst UAE society.
In the implementation of the Emirates Happiness Index initiative, which was carried out by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Board of Dubai, in order to measure the happiness of citizens and residents of Dubai, especially when dealing with its services. The idea of the Happiness Index was inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai -May Allah Bless Him- not only to make Dubai the smartest city in the world, but also the happiest city in the world.
The Student Happiness Council of Al-Falah University considers the happiness of students as one of the main priorities that AFU seeks to achieve through providing multiple services suggested and communicated by the Student Happiness Council based on reaching out to the students' community.
