• Accountable for all the aspects of Human Resources, recruitment of academic and administrative staff, staffing and retention, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with MOHRE-UAE, workforce planning, performance appraisal, implementation of UAE labor law and the CAA standards, compensation and benefits, staff grievances and end of service benefits

  • Weekly, monthly and annual reports to University President and Chancellor 

  • Responsible for health insurance policies for staff and dependents, travel plans of academic and administrative staff

  • Human Resource management, policies and procedures, vision mission, objectives and goals

  • Employees professional training and development

  • Payroll Management and HR petty cash

  • Issue Formal Letters, Experience Letters, Salary Certificates, etc. as required in accordance with CAA standards for hiring and general policies

  • Prepare academic and administrative staffs’ internal contracts

  • Maintain all staff personnel records in HR system and ensure all necessary documentation are current and accurate  

  • Validate and process expenses claims related to travel, transportation, shift compensation and process for approval and payment

  • Accountable for recording all staff grades, increments, promotion and incentives

  • Monitor attendance and vacation status of the academic and administrative staff

  • Responsible for administration logistics in term of transactions, travel and personnel services

  • Responsible for legal formalities related to residency and work permits, insurance and visas

  • Represent the university in events and in government entities

  • Application of security approvals for academic and administrative staff

  • Responsible to work with Vice President for Academic Affairs and College Deans for CAA accreditations

  • Other duties that may be assigned by the Executive Management
