An AFU student who wishes to study courses at another institution may do so according to the following regulations:
The number of credit hours taken at other institutions should not exceed (6) credit hours throughout his/her course of study.
The student needs to obtain a written approval from the college dean prior to studying at other institutions by filling out an application and submit it at AFU Admission and Registration Unit. Otherwise, AFU will not approve the application.
The institution where the student wishes to study must be accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education.
The courses the student wishes to study must not be offered at AFU during the same semester.
The student must obtain grade (C) or above in the course for the credits to be transferred, and to submit the official transcript to Admission and Registration Unit at AFU within 2 weeks from the declaration of the marks at the other institution.
The total study load for student has to be according to the CAA standards, where the full-time undergraduate student credit load is between 12 and 18 credits per regular semester.
