Student Affairs at Al Falah University organized an orientation meeting for new students registered in the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022. The orientation aims to acquaint the students with the educational system and services provided by the University and the activities and events to hone their practical skills. Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Samer Abdel Hadi and Mr. Ali Al Alaimi from the General Education Department attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Dr. Abdel Hadi welcomed the students and expressed his overwhelming gratitude for the students’ decisions to come to AFU to complete their education. He also informed the students of the precautionary measures implemented in the campus which aim to protect the students and the academic and administrative staff members. He also advised the students on how they could effectively integrate into university life.
Mr. Al Alaimi on the other hand, taught the students on how to use the Moodle program, the most important instructions related to distance learning and how to access the Microsoft Teams program. He also instructed the attendees on how to use the student portal services and how they could access their academic record, study plan, important dates and announcement of results and marks. The students were also reminded to remember their username and password to access all electronic services and platforms.
