Student Affairs at Al Falah University organized a virtual orientation for new students joining AFU in the Summer II semester of the Academic Year 2020-2021.

The aim of the orientation is to help students integrate into the higher education environment especially the transition to online distance learning and the implemented precautionary procedures and measures considering the global pandemic. Dr. Samer Abelhadi, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities welcomed the new students and expressed his pleasure for their choosing and joining AFU. He also stressed the University’s keenness to put the students’ wellbeing first by making sure the academic and administrative staff members all work together to provide the appropriate learning environment for all students. During the meeting, Dr. Abdelhadi presented a step by step tutorial for accessing the MS Office program through AFU’s e-learning website. He also explained the mechanism for joining online lectures and how to view recorded lectures when needed. 

He also explained the student portal services and how students could request their academic record, study plan, how check the dates of exams and their marks. He reminded the students to keep a record of their username and password which they would frequently use to avail of all the electronic services provided by the University.
