The Dean of the College of Business Administration (COBA) and the other ex officio members of the Board, Prof. Mohanad Halaweh, MBA Director, and Dr. Ijaz Ur Rehman, Head of the UG Program, welcomed the COBA Advisory Board members for the first meeting of the AY 2020-2021. The members elected the Chair and Vice Chair of the Board at the beginning of the meeting. The structure of the COBA Advisory Board is as follows:

The first meeting of the COBA Advisory Board was particularly productive. Creative ideas and suggestions to further advance the COBA were discussed in depth and for implementation in the near future. The most important issues discussed include: the COBA Vision, Mission and Strategic Plan for 2020-2025; COBA applications and submissions for local and international accreditations; proposal for initial accreditation of new Undergraduate and Graduate programs;, the forthcoming TASK 2021 Virtual International Conference; a series of Professional Development activities for COBA faculty; possibilities for student scholarships; COBA community engagement activities and relationships with external organizations; internship placements; and contractual agreements with the Advisory Board members’ organizations.
COBA is indebted to the dedication, support, commitment of its Advisory Board members and looks forward to a productive and fruitful future cooperation in areas of strategic importance for the College and the communities it serves.
