Al Falah University won first place in the Rashid bin Hamid Award for Culture and Sciences in Human Studies: Islamic Legal Studies category. Organized under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman since 1983 to commemorate his father, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi - may Allah have mercy on him, the event is held annually in the Emirate of Ajman, during which hundreds of dignified and esteemed researchers, academics and intellectuals have submitted their scientific researches this year.
AFU participated with Dr. Muhammad Najm, Assistant Professor from the College of Law as representative with his scientific paper entitled “Legal Regulation for Preventive Public Employee Suspension from Work in UAE and Jordanian Legislation".
Prof. Adi Arida, President, stated that “AFU is proud to have been the recipient for this prestigious award which will positively impact the educational outcomes of the university. This achievement will also motivate and inspire other academics and researchers to continuously innovate and progress and develop their scientific researches not only for their academic advancement but also to help address the needs of community.”
Dr. Najm, beneficiary of the award said, “This have been a proud moment not only for me, but for the whole University. I am grateful and humbled that my research helped in raising awareness to the important issues that our society is facing.” He also added that the support of the UAE government for academics and researchers via the Rashid Bin Hamid Award for Culture and Sciences and other notable institutions and organizations put into light the positive impact of conducting researches and advancing the scientific knowledge for the future generations to follow.
