The Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with the Expo 2020 Office organized an introductory visit for the university students to the Expo 2020 Exhibition site, the largest event in the world.
During the visit, the students were acquainted with the international history of the Expo, its various courses, divisions, and existing construction work sites. The tour also included a full explanation of the objectives of the exhibition, the reason for its establishment, the enterprises participating in it, as well as the recreational and educational activities that will be included in Expo 2020.
The students visited the Expo Dome, which is the beating heart of the Expo, and viewed the "Al Wasl Square", which is one of the most important landmarks of the exhibition, which constitutes cultural, environmental, touristy, educational and recreational purposes.
The UAE Pavilion also caught the attention of the students as they watched the construction of the wing designed in the form of a flying falcon, which will comprise four floors with a total area of ​​more than 15 thousand square meters.
Dubai will host the Expo 2020 from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, with the participation of 192 countries under the slogan "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future".
