Following the precautionary measures to limit the spread of covid-19, Al Falah University celebrated the 49th National Day of the United Arab Emirates under the slogan “Celebrate from Your Home” through social media platforms. The University reposted videos and photos of joy captured by university students, faculty and administrative staff, in addition to students' families and friends.

 

On this national occasion, Al Falah University presented heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President - may Allah protect him - and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai- May Allah bless him - and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces- May Allah protect him - and to their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, rulers of the Emirates - May Allah protect them - and to the people of the UAE and those residing on its land on the occasion of the UAE National Day 49

AFU President, Prof. Adi Arida, stated that the celebration of the UAE National Day is a special occasion that reflects the people's loyalty to the homeland and the extent of their pride in its heritage and identity. He added “the celebration, annually, is a reminder to the value of the union between the 7 emirates and the founding principles of UAE set forth by the late sheikh Zayed and the founding fathers, may they rest in peace.”   Locals, residents and visitors collectively wish an infinite prosperity and success to every one living on the land of UAE. 

Additionally, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Jahmani, said that the celebration of the 49th National Day of the United Arab Emirates marks a new era for the next 50 year for UAE as it will be filled with achievements and more growth for UAE and its people - Allah’s willing.
