Al Falah University won first place in the Intellectual Property Award during the Dubai Customs annual celebration on the World Intellectual Property Day. H.E. Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security of Dubai, H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director-General of Dubai Customs and representatives of government agencies attended the ceremony.

AFU participated in this competition through the students’ activities in the field of raising awareness among the members of the UAE society about the need to protect intellectual property rights under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Najm from the College of Law and Dr. Ahmed Kamel of the College of Mass Communication.

AFU President Prof. Abdelhafid Belarbi was proud of the students’ achievement stating that "Al Falah University places the protection of intellectual property rights as one of its priorities by laying down the concepts of protecting the students’ intellectual rights during lectures or through the activities and events organized by the AFU."
