Week of Good Deeds

The College of Mass Communication at Al Falah University organized the “Week of Good Deeds” where a number of delegations of students and faculty members offered support and association to various challenged members of the society.

Our students visited the Pace Centre which specializes in developing skills of children with special needs. Our delegation productively discussed various strategies for involving the Centers’ children in educational activities to refine their scientific, sports and artistic talents. The delegation presented gifts and souvenirs to the children in the Center and participated in a number of activities.
Dr. Khalid Henedi, Dean of College of Mass Communication shared the University’s vision; "Al Falah University is dedicated to extending support to the entire society through community engagement initiatives, especially in charitable endeavors and in pursuance to raise the level of the UAE population in all areas.”
Dr. Henedi added that the good deeds of our students are evident and continuing. Our students distributed lunch to the employees at the airport terminal in Dubai, earlier last week, followed by a visit to the owners of Hamam Center to arrange another visit to a number of hospitals and distribute gifts to children.
Dr. Sameer Al Barghouthi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, said that the visit comes in response to the announcement by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, that 2017 will be a year of good deeds.
Al-Falah University seeks to instill values of good deeds among the people of the UAE through many activities and events. The Week of Good Deeds is one initiative launched by the College of Mass Communication.
