The 7th Regional Intellectual Property Crime Conference in the Middle East and North Africa was held under the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Honorary President of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association (EIPA). The event, organized by the Emirates Intellectual Property Society (Interpol) and in partnership with the General Command of Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Institute of Training and Judicial Studies and the Council of Trademark Owners proceeded from 6th – 7th November 2017 at the Armani Hotel, Dubai. Al Falah University represented by Dr. Mohamed Desouki, Dean, Dr. Ezzat Al Omari, Dr. Lamia Ruslan, Dr. Mohammed Njim, Dr. Rania Gaili, Dr. Nadia Yas and College of Law students participated on the first day. The Director-General of the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies, Dr. Mohammed Al Kamali and Jassem Saif, Head of the Judicial Inspection Department, Minister of Justice led a panel for the “Rule of Law Indicator from the Perspective of Intellectual Property” along with other international experts.
