Al Falah University conducted a workshop on International Services Certification Program in collaboration with Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) on Saturday, March 19, 2016. The workshop was aimed to develop curriculum in higher education institutions of the United Arab Emirates.
The workshop was attended by the Chancellor of Al Falah University, Dr. Noor Atatreh, General Manager of Academic Accreditation in the Ministry of Higher Education Commission, Professor Badr Aboul-Ela, Director of International Services for the Accreditation Council for Education of Pharmacy, Professor Mike Ross and Vice President of Academic Affairs Al Falah University, Dr. Samir Al Barghouthi. The event was also attended by representatives from the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), University of Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences, University of Sharjah, Al Ain University of Science and Technology, University of Ajman, Medical University of the Gulf, and the Higher Colleges of Technology from within the UAE, and Al Ahfad University of Sudan.
Chancellor, Dr. Noor Attatreh extended warm greetings to all the respected guests and congratulated the university management for organizing this important event. He emphasized on the importance of the workshop which aimed to enhance the capacity of scientific skills and contribute to increasing knowledge for the improvement of standards of all academic institutions in the United Arab Emirates. This in turn would provide great benefits to the students through academic programs in educational institutions.
The workshop covered topics between theoretical and practical methods of higher education. Professor Mike Ross addressed a variety of topics on aspects of the development of the faculty of the Pharmacy colleges and various pharmaceutical fields. Al Falah University is looking forward to organize numerous scientific conferences and workshops that will strengthen and develop the output of higher education in the United Arab Emirates.
