In light of the Reading Month in the UAE, Al Falah University’s Cultural Club is pleased to invite students to participate in the Reading Challenge “Read More” to compete for the challenge on the highest number of books read in March.
In line with the goal of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai - May Allah Bless Him -to encourage students to read more. The Student Affairs at Al Falah University launched the reading challenge to:
Raise awareness among students on the importance of being well-read.
Develop self-learning skills, critical analytical thinking and expand their understanding.
Develop the students' intellectuality.
Improve the students’ Arabic language skills and increase their communication skills to express themselves fluently.
Promote cultural awareness among students and broaden their perceptions.
Build a network of emerging readers and encourage gathering for intellectual conversations among students regarding the books they have read.
About the Competition:
The students could participate in the competition by reading many books from the announcement of the competition until 31 March 2021.
A meeting will be held with the participating students who finished reading books. A discussion will be carried out regarding the books that have been read and the winning student will be selected.
